Module 1 - Imagining Blended Learning
Overview:
- Introduction - The purpose of this module is to develop a common understanding of Blended Learning and consider in what ways it might be useful at Hershey. We will examine INACOL and The Clayton Christiansen definitions as well as look at some blended programs in action. After refining our understanding of the scope of blended learning we will work to create a working definition that we will share with our colleagues at HHS and will be useful in guiding our work.

Module 2 - Digital Literacy
Overview: The purpose of this module is to consider and define literacy skills. This module will ask you to consider how we can provide opportunities for 21st Century Learning in the classroom.

Module 3 - Participatory Culture for Our Students
Overview: The purpose of this module is to examine the ways in which students engage in participatory culture. A participatory culture is one in which the students are not only the consumers of information but the creators of information. As we see to engage our students with technology we need to consider what and how students will develop their digital persona. Students may find themselves as leaders, learners, and teachers in this environment. The challenge for educators is to examine how we can work with students to enrich their online lives.
